Today in the US states are making laws to reduce the amount of accidents caused by texting and driving. several states including Washington and Alaska have put laws that prohibit the use of a cellular device while driving. sadly states like Arizona and Missouri have little to no laws against it.

These laws are being made to reduce the chance of someone texting while driving. Your State legislature and governor make the laws regarding distracted driving. Many States now have laws against texting, talking on a cell phone, and other distractions while driving.
